@ Approximately 8:15 pm.  Police took a report of burglary from Mrs. Mangan at Melcher court.  She reported she returned home and found her door open.   Its unknown at the time if anything was missing.  The incident is under investigation.

@ Approximately 9:05pm.  Police took a report from Gary and Leah Elliott of Lancaster Road.  They reported that they came home to find a black colored vehicle in their driveway, and noticed someone getting running from the house to car and take off.  They were able to give police a description along with the who the person was.  The incident is under investigation and charges are forth coming.

@ Approximately 6:30pm.  Police received a report of two females entering an empty house on State Street.  Turns out they were looking to rent the place.  No damage to the property was found.

@ Approximately 1145pm.  Police were called to the area of old Village road for some kind of a dispute.  Upon police arrival Police learned of a verbal argument going to between a male and female.   After talking with the parties it was determined no crime had been commented.  The male was asked to leave the property at the request of the property owener.

@ Approximately 2:15am.  Police were called to the Brooklyn Street for a bear issue.  Police responded to the area.  The officer was able to scare two bear from the area at that time.  Police ask the residents of the area to take in any bird feeders and to keep there trash secured.  Police are working with fish and game about the issue.

@ Approximately 11:15 am.  Police received a report from John Sheriden of Lancaster alleging he was assault by Tommy Ferron.  Police are investigating the incident.  Charges are likely.

@ Approximately 4:55 pm.  Police took a report from John Robbins of NH 110 of some damage to his door locks.  Upon police investigating it appeared someone might have put some glue in to the locks.  The incident is under investigation.

@ Approximately 8:05 pm.  Police received a report from Richard Hart of NH RT 110 of someone cutting a piece of hose from the side of the house.  This incident is under investigation.  Anyone having any information or has seen anyone that does belong in the area of NH Rt 110 is asked to contact the Police.

@ Approximately 11:20 am.  Police took a report from staff at the Elementary School about someone writing over the gazebo that was raised.  Anyone having any information about this incident is asked to contact police.

@ Approximately 6:20 pm.  Police arrested Robert Hall 20 of Groveton was arrested on Warrants for Bad Checks out of Bath.  He later released on PR bail, pending an arrigment.

@ Approximately 5:55pm.  Police took a report from a parent involving some juveniles involved in an assault.  Police are investigating.

@ Approximately 4:06pm.  Police received a report of someone trespassing on the mill property.  Some doors were found open but know one was found on the property at the time.

@ Approximately 4:44pm.  Police took a report of theft of a kid’s plastic picnic table from 28 Rich Street.  The property owner Tracey Dupis said it was last seen on the front porch.  Anyone having information pertaining to this incident is asked to contact police.

@ Approximately 4;45pm.  Police issued a summons to Cassie Belanger for non inspection.

@ Approximately 9:45pm.  Trisha Gaudette 26 of Groveton turned herself in at the police station on warrant for breach of bail.  She was released on $1,000 Cash bail with a court date of July 2, 2012.

@ Approximately 5pm. Police issued a summons to Laurie Perras for non inspection

@ Approximately 7:20 pm.  Police issued a summons to Timothy Woodard for non inspection.

@ Approximately 8:15 pm.  Police arrested Nicholas Potter of Spring Street for Disorderly Conduct.  He was later released on PR bail with a court date of July 16, 2012

@ Approximately 4:35 pm.  Police responded to a single motor vehicle accident in the area of Job Lots.  Police upon investigating found Joshua Hatefield of Lancaster had been operating his 2000 lexs traveling north at an excessive rate of speed when he noticed he was too close to the shoulder tried to correct that and in doing lost control of the vehicle.  Mr. Hatefield did receive some injuries from the incident and was taken to the hospital by private vehicle as he refused an ambulance.  Mr. Hatefield was charged with negligent driving as a result of the accident.

@ Approximately 7:55pm.  Police issued a summons to Terri Woodard for unregistered motor vehicle.

@ Approximately 12:45 am.  Police arrested James McDade Sr. 62 of Maidstone Vermont for Driving while intoxicated. He was later released on  $1000.00 PR Bail and give a court date of July 23, 2012.

@ Approximately 3:40pm.  Police responded to a motor vehicle rollover on the Lancaster Road. Police found upon arriving a 2011 Kia upside down in the road with Benjamin Gurley of Stark inside, there were power lines down as a result of the accident.  Once PSNH workers arrived Emergency workers were able to get Mr. Gurley out of the vehicle.  The cause of the accident remains under investigation.

@ Approximately 7:45.  Police took a report from Debbie Goulet of Hillside Ave.  She reported to police one of her saw horses near her garden were found to be missing.  Police are asking if anyone was seen in the area to contact police.

@ Approximately 9:53 am.  Police arrested Brian Shannon of Guildhall Vermont for Simple Assault and Violation of a Protective order. From incident that had taken place a couple of days prior.  He was additional charged with Resisting Arrest and Possession of drugs. No bail was set at that time of arrest due to the violation of protective order.  Brian Shannon had a bail hearing and arraignment the next in the 1st circuit court Colebrook division, where he remained in county jail for lack of $10,000 cash bail.

@ Approximately 3:40 pm.  Police took a report from Richard Prime 53 of Stratford reporting someone taking corvette tires from a storage shed on State Street.  The incident is under investigation.

@ Approximately 3:42 pm.  Police arrested Gary Nicholson 56 of Groveton for operating a motor vehicle on a suspended drivers license.  He was released on PR bail of $500.00 with a court date of July 9th, 2012.

@ Approximately 6:15 pm. Police issued a summons to Rhonda King of Dalton for Speed.

@ Approximately 11:45am.  Police transported David Walters to the Coos house of Corrections after police received reports of a male appearing intoxicated walking in out of the roadway and following down.  Mr. Walters was taken into protective custody as a result.

@ Approximately 2:15am.  Police responded to First Street for a suspicious vehicle near a house.  Upon arrival of police they learned from the occupants of the vehicle they had broken down and were waiting for a ride to come get them.

@ Approximately 5:03pm.  Police received a report from James World 45 of Vermont of a theft out of the old power plant in Northumberland Village.  Police learned the theft was witnessed and the individual had pictures of the theft in progress.  The alleged suspect was confronted about the theft and then left area into Vermont.  Police were able to obtain a search warrant with assistance of the Essex County Sherriff’s office.  As a result of the Search Warrant the items taken were recovered at the home of Jamie Crowell 38, of Guildhall Vermont. Charges are forthcoming, and the investigation continues into the incident.

@ Approximately 6pm.  Police responded to a reported Domestic Assault that just occurred at the home of Theresa Olson 125 Old Village Road.  Upon arrival of police Theresa alleged she was assaulted by Brian Shannon who had left the area prior to the arrival of police along with her children. Statements were taken from those present, charges are forthcoming as a result of the incident.

@ Approximately 9:10 am.  Police issued a summons to Ronald Slayton for failing to stop at a stop sign.

@ Approximately 8:20pm.  Police responded to Deanbrook Drive for domestic dispute.  Upon arriving Police found Tim Hutchinson and Tasha Hutchinson having a verbal argument both parties were separated.  Upon talking with the parties probable cause of a crime did not exist therefore no arrest were made.
