 Monday, March 12

@ Approximately 3:15 pm.  A juvenile came to the police station to report his bicycle stolen.  The juvenile told police it had occurred two days prior.  The incident is being investigated.

@ Approximately 10:04 p.  Police responded to a car accident on State Street by the former Emerson Outfitters with a deer.  The operator David Griggs 58 of Guildhall, VT and his passengers were not injured.  Minor damage to the vehicle and the deer ran into the woods.

Tuesday, March 13

@ Approximately 2:55 am.  Police called to the area of West and Rich Street to suspicious acting vehicle.  The vehicle was described as a silver color sedan with only on occupant; the caller was unable to get a plate number off the vehicle.  Unsure on what this person was doing, should anyone have any information is asked to contact police.

Wednesday, March 14

@ Approximately 7:50 am.  Police responded to West Street for a reported Assault involving a Juvenile.  Police talked to those involved in the incident.  The incident is under investigation.

Thursday, March 15

@ Approximately 9:19pm.  Police took a report from David Stortvenant.  David reported to his brother was receiving packages with instructions to resend them to another address in return would receive $100.00 for his services.  It turned out the brother lives in Dover NH.  David was instructed to have his brother contact the Dover Police Department to make them aware of this incident.

Friday, March 16

@ Approximately 8 am.  Police took a report from Richard St. Cyr a First Street resident of some gas taken from his wife’s vehicle sometime during the night.  Nothing was heard or seen.  If anyone has any information or may have seen strange or unusual activity is asked to contact police.  This incident is under investigation.

@ Approximately 3:20 pm.  Police responded to Lancaster on Middle Street to assist with a disorderly person. 

Saturday, March 17

@ Approximately 8:15 pm.  Police responded to the area of Marshall’s corner on the Lancaster Road for a car accident involving a deer.  The operator Barry Loadenthal of Canada was not injured minor damage  to the vehicle. The deer had gone into the woods.     

Sunday, March 18

@ Approximately 12:55 pm.  Police took a report from Walter Hapgood of Brown road, of a possible scam involving home loans.  Residents are urged to be cautious of giving personal information to unknown people or companies over the phone, as there a lot of different scams circulating right now.  If anyone has questions please call the police department.

Monday, March 5

@ Approximately 11:45 am.  Police took a report from Donald Cheny a Pike Street resident that someone had keyed the side of his vehicle.  It’s believed the incident may have happened sometime in early hours of Thursday.  The incident is under investigation.

@ Approximately 9:04 pm.   Police took a report from Erin Bisonette a Hillside Ave resident of someone taking gas from her vehicle.  It’s believed the incident may have happened sometime late evening early the next day.  The incident is under investigation.

Tuesday, March 6

@ Approximately 12:00 pm.  Police took a report from Arthur Gadwah a Stratford Road resident of a possible phone scam.  Caller said he was trying to collect a debt, and didn’t make good on it he was looking at being arrested.  The police have received similar reports.  Police encourage residents not give or confirm any kind of information if they suspect something not right, even if they may have some of the information correct, this incident is being looked into and compared to similar incidents to see if they may be connected.

Wednesday, March 7

@ Approximately 5:50 pm.  Police received a report from Kathy Frechette a Cumberland Street resident of two snow machines going across her property.  Upon arrival of police the snow machines had left the area.  No description was given of the machines, however Mrs. Frechette was told to call back should they return and obtain a possible description.

@ Approximately 11:00 pm.  Police arrested Craig Knudson 7/11/1991 of Lancaster after a motor vehicle stop, for Operating motor vehicle with suspended license.  Mr. Knudson was also charged with 2 counts of possession of drugs.  He was released on $5,000 PR bail pending his arraignment in court.

Thursday, March 8

@ Approximately 1:10 pm.  Police received a report from Debbie Goulet a Hillside Ave resident of someone taking gas from her vehicle.  The vehicle was reported as being in the garage at the time of the incident. 

Friday, March 9

@ Approximately 3:30 pm.  James Sayen of Stratford was issued a summons for speed.

@ Approximately 8:55 pm Police took a report of an Assault involving Juveniles.

@ Approximately 10:35 pm.  Michael Hollaran of Pittsburg was issued a summons for speed.


Saturday, March 10

@ Approximately 12:15 am.  Richie Provencher of Litchfield NH was issued a summons for Misuse of Plates.

@ Approximately 6:21 am.  Police were called to 55 Church Street for Domestic Dispute.  Upon arrival police found the incident to be verbal in nature between Allison Hern and James Hassen. No charges were filled.

@ Approximately 6:32 am.   Police received a report of dispute of Dispute between some juveniles.  Police arrived and talked with the juveniles involved, Police continue to look into the incident.

@ Approximately 7:10 pm.  Police received a report from Trisha Gaudette that she was assaulted.  The incident is under investigation.

@ Approximately 11:00 pm.  Shirley Perrault of Stratford was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle without a valid license.

Sunday, March 11

@ Approximately 12:45 am.  Police received a report from Nicole Ginard a State Street resident that items had been taken from her house.  Police took a statement from Ms. Ginard as a result.  The incident is under investigation.

@ Approximately 5:00 am.  Police received a report of an assault involving some Juveniles on Hillside Ave.   Police spoke with some of people involved, to get statements.  The incident remains under investigation.

@ Approximately 8:05 am.  Police received a burglary Alarm at the former Emerson Hardware.  Police upon arriving found the building secure with no signs of entry. 

@ Approximately 10:42 am Toby Kenison Jr. turned himself on Warrant from a previous incident, possession of a controlled substance.  Mr. Kenison was transported to the Coos County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail pending a bail hearing.

@ Approximately 6:10 pm.  Michael Brooks of Colebrook was issued a summons for speed.

 Tuesday, Feb 28

@ Approximately 10:03 am.  A report of smoke coming from the old town garage on State Street behind the Union Bank was called in by Phil Stearns.  Upon police arrival there was smoke coming from the building.  The fire is considered accidental, cause electrical.  The Groveton fire Department was assisted by other town departments as well as Mutual Aid Departments from Stark, Lancaster, Stratford and the State Fire Marshal’s office.

Wednesday, Feb 29

@ Approximately 5:04 am.  A resident on Hillside Ave report some vehicles acting suspiciously driving back and forth, one of them reported to be operating without headlights.  The caller was concerned they may be trying to take gas from vehicles.  Police patrolled the area for awhile after receiving the call with no contact with any vehicles.  The caller reported this activity had been going on and off all evening.  Police ask residents to report any suspicious activity as soon as they witness it.  By doing so assists police in locating the individuals responsible.

@ Approximately 8:05 pm.  A resident on Maple Street reporting someone taking gas from his vehicle.  This is the second report from the resident.  Police are looking for any information in relation to this incident.  If anyone has any information is asked to call police.

@ Approximately 9:40 pm.  A resident on First Street reporting harassing phone calls.  Police are looking into the matter.

Friday, March 2

@ Approximately 3:15 pm.  Police arrested to people on outstanding warrants.  Nicole Guinard 3/4/83 of Groveton was arrested on two warrants one of the Berlin District and the other was from Vermont.  Ms. Guinard was charged with being a fugitive from justice.  She was transported to Grafton County Jail pending a bail Hearing scheduled March 5, 2012.  Eugene Ward 7/16/72 was arrested on a warrant out of Vermont.  Mr. Ward was charged with being a fugitive from Justice.  He was transported to the Coos County Jail pending a bail hearing on March 5, 2012.

@ Approximately 3:30 pm.  Police took a report from a resident alleging being threatened.  Police took the needed for information from the caller.  The incident is under investigation.

@ Approximately 6:20 pm.  Police took a report from a Lancaster Road resident alleging phone harassment.  Police took the needed information from the caller.  The incident is under investigation.
  
Saturday, March 3

@ Approximately 12:30 pm.  Police received a complaint about a snow machine operating in a reckless manner on High Street.  Upon police arrival the snow machine in question had left the area.

@ Approximately 11:45 pm.  Krzysztof Plociennik 02/13/61 of Dummer was issued a summons for an unregistered motor vehicle, on Rt 110.

@ Approximately 11:55 pm.  Police responded to a family dispute on Goulet Street.  No arrests were made, but police are looking into the matter further.

Northumberland Police responded to approximately 83 calls for service between February 20th and February 26th.  Among them were:

Monday, Feb 20

@ Approximately 8:47 pm.  Police were called to an alleged domestic dispute on Summer Street.  Kelsie Ordway 22, of Groveton was later arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief. Ordway was held in lieu of $500 cash bail.  She is scheduled to appear in court on March 26.

Tuesday, Feb 21

@ Approximately 9:55 am.  Police were called to the Medical Center on Church Street for an unwanted person.  Sandra Jenot of Bunker Hill Street in Lancaster was asked to leave the property for alleged threats made some staff.

@ Approximately 10:45 am.  Police received a report of a suspicious person on a bicycle in the area of the Guildhall road.  Caller said it appeared the person was casing the area.

@ Approximately 11:10 am.  Police responded to a burglary alarm at location of the former Munces.  It was the result of someone pulling on the door.

@ Approximately 7:55 pm.  Lindsey Ball, 29 of Stark, was issued summons for speed.

Wednesday, Feb 22.

@ Approximately 8:50 am.  Police assisted some residents with a dispute with a personal property dispute.  It was resolved in the end by the partied agreeing to a time to make the exchange.

@ Approximately 10:40 am.  Police responded to a Burglary Alarm at the former munces.  Upon arrival police learned that someone again had pulled on the door.

Thursday, Feb 23

@ Approximately 9:15 am.  Police responded to a Burglary Alarm at the former Munces.  Upon arriving police learned someone had pulled on the door.

@ Approximately 5:30 pm.  Ryan Lavoie, 26, of Groveton was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license.  He was released on $ 350 PR bail with a March 19 court date.

@ Approximately 10:50 pm.  A suspicious acting vehicle was seen by police in the area of the Coos Pit Stop.  Upon checking police found it to be one of the owners of the business.

Friday, Feb 24.

@ Approximately 3:00 pm.  A minor two vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of Church and State Streets.  No injuries were reported, minor damage to the vehicles.

@ Approximately 8:15 pm.  A resident on Maple Street reporting snow machines riding through his property without his permission. They were going upon police arriving in the area.

Saturday, Feb 25.

@ Approximately 6:20 am.  A single vehicle accident reported on Marshall’s corner.  A vehicle rolled over after loosing control of the vehicle, while coming around the corner.  No injuries were reported and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

@ Approximately 7:45 am.  A two vehicle accident was reported on the Lancaster Road near the meeting house.  No injuries were reported and both vehicles were towed from the scene.

@ Approximately 8:01 am.  A caller reporting a vehicle off the road on Cumberland Street into a snow bank no injuries or damage reported. The vehicle was driven from the scene.

@ Approximately 10:23 am.  A caller from Maple Street reporting someone took gas from his truck while parked in his driveway.  Anyone having knowledge or may have seen anyone in the area of Maple Street asked to call police.

@ Approximately 11:24 am.  Residents reporting harassment over a dispute of ownership of a dog.

Mon, Feb 13

@ Approximately 10:10am Police took a report from Anne Swanson.  Anne reported some items missing from an apartment building in Berlin where she once lived and believed they may be somewhere in our town.  Ms. Swanson was directed first report it to Berlin PD and we would investigate further from there.

Police responded to many alarm activations at the former business of Munces on the Lancaster Road.  All calls were responded to and found have been the result of people pulling on the door, believing the business was open.

Tues, Feb 14

@ Approximately 11:30 am Police arrested Roxanne Adjudtant for operating while her privilege to do so had been suspended.  This came as result of contact on the side of the road after stopping; vehicle had damage to the passenger side mirror along with a broken windshield, which leads to the inquiry.  The vehicle was found to be uninspected.  Ms. Adjudtant was processed and released on summons pending court.

@ Approximately 3:15 Police took a report of Theft from Foula Taliadoras of Hillside Ave.  It’s suspected that the event took place sometime the day before being discovered.  The case is currently being investigated.

Wed, Feb 15

@ Approximately 9:45 Police responded to burglary alarm at the former Munces.  Police found to be someone again trying the door believing the business was open.

@ Approximately 1:00 pm Police went to the High School for an incident involving some Juveniles.  Police spoke with staff about the matter, which is being investigated.

@ Approximately 9:00 Police responded to a reported Assault at a residence on the Old Village Road.  Police spoke with those involved in the incident and took statements.  No charges have been brought at this time, pending further investigation.

Thurs, Feb 16

@ Approximately 4:10 am Police were called to the area of Winter Street for a report of some people going through cars.  Police found foot prints in the area around some of the cars.  Northumberland Police were assisted by State Police.  Police did follow the foot prints finding two sets.  Police have talked with one possible suspect in the incident, and look to talk with another as the investigation into the incident continues.  Police urge residents to lock their vehicles after being parked for the night.



@ Approximately 12:10pm Police responded to 14 High Street to take a report of a theft from David York.  Mr. York said he was expecting some items through the mail earlier in the week.  Mr. York upon checking with the Post Office learned the items he was looking for had been delivered on Monday, having not received them called Police.  Police gathered necessary information from Mr. York.  An investigation into the matter is ongoing.  If anyone has any knowledge or may have been in the area of High Street in the late afternoon on Monday and saw anything is urged to call Police.

Fri, Feb 17

@ Approximately 7:52 pm Robert Dowland of Prospect Street Groveton, NH reported to police someone had shot out two windows in his truck while it was parked in his driveway.  Police found upon arriving to investigate that the windows appeared to have been hit with a pellet or BB gun.  Police collected the necessary information.  The investigation into the matter is ongoing.

@ Approximately 8:30 pm Police responded to the area of 31 Main Street and took a report from Wendy Armstrong.  Ms. Armstrong said someone had shot one of her windows out with a BB or Pellet gun.  Witness reported seeing a dark colored station wagon in the area about the time of the incident with numerous occupants inside.  Anyone having any information pertaining to this incident is asked to call the police.  Police believe both incidents are connected.

Sat, Feb 18

@ Approximately 9am Police responded to additional Alarms at the former Munces.  Police found it was again the result of someone pulling on the door.

@ Approximately 6pm Police responded to Route 110 for someone hitting a deer.  Police talked with John Orlowski of MA.  No injuries or damage to the vehicle was reported.

@ Approximately 7:30 pm Police respond to a report of a dirt bike riding in the area of Rich Street.  Police later spoke with some juveniles about the incident. 

Sun, Feb 19

@ approximately 11:26 pm Police responded to 14 High Street for a reported Criminal Threatening.  Police upon arriving talked with Ms. Skillin one of the tenants in the building.  Its alleged that another tenant in the building was upset over an arrangement they may have had.  Police took statements from those involved, it remains under intestigation.

0845:  Police responded to a 911 hang-up on Alice Drive.  It turned out that their daughter had been playing with the phone.

1303:  Police responded to a 911 hang-up on Brown Road.  It was a 991 misdial.

Monday, January 02, 2012

0130:  Police responded to a report of a combative subject trying to fight the ambulance crew on West Street.  The initial report was wrong; the subject was an eighteen-year-old female who was unconscious.  The officer followed the ambulance to Weeks and tried to speak with the subject.  She was too intoxicated to give any substantial information.  The officer followed up with her the next day.

1600:  Officers followed up with a juvenile about a stolen vehicle.  The investigation is ongoing.

1735:  Officers assisted a woman with a custody issue.  The father had not brought the child to the mother at the time he was supposed to, per court order.  The officer made him aware of this, and he agreed to bring the child to the mother.

2135:  Police responded to a single vehicle accident on Lost Nation.  The driver had swerved to avoid an animal and hit a telephone pole.  No injury was reported.

2330:  Per the incident with the unconscious female from the night before, police arrested Kaleigh Gendreau on a warrant out of Northumberland for Unlawful Possession of Alcohol and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child/Incompetent.  She was released on $1000 PR bail and has a court date of February 06.

1000:  Police issued a summons to Christopher Roy for Unregistered Vehicle.

2110:  Police received a report of a fire on West Street.  Police responded with the fire department.  The fire department determined that someone had left a cigarette near the side of the house and it had started to smolder.

2210:  Police responded to a residence after learning that a juvenile was kicked out of his house by his parents. The officer brought the juvenile to the police department and called a friend, who he will be staying with.  The incident was turned over to DCYF.

0645:  Police responded to an alarm at the elementary school.  The alarm was accidentally set off.
0826:  Police were asked to do a welfare check on an individual who lives on Pinette Street.  The officer did respond, and found the individual lying beside her bed, barely responsive.  The individual was transported to Weeks.

1309:  Police assisted an individual with some questions about restitution she was supposed to receive from a prior case.

1937:  Police received a report of a burglary on Second Street.  The incident remains under investigation at this time.

1200:  Police assisted an individual in gaining entry into his car.

1745:  Police responded to a report of a suspicious motor vehicle on Route 3 North.  The officer found that the vehicle had a flat tire, which the operator was in the process of changing at the time.

1830:  Police assisted an individual in exchanging items with an ex-girlfriend.

2030:  Police found that the area in the road by Everybody’s Place on Route 3 South was flooding and advised dispatch.

0020:  While out patrolling, police noticed a vehicle blocking the way for the school bus in the morning.  The officer advised the local towing company, and got in touch with the owner of the vehicle.  The vehicle was brought to the owner’s residence.

1000:  Police responded to a single vehicle accident into a building on Spring Street.  No injury was reported; however, there was damage to both the vehicle and the building.

1333:  Police assisted an individual in gaining entry into their vehicle on State Street.

1825:  Police dealt with an issue between two individuals who were arguing over some money.  One of them stated that the other had taken a pair of her pants and a CD.  The officer advised the other that if she didn’t return them, she would be charged with theft.  The issue was eventually resolved.

0015:  Police responded to a report of a verbal and physical altercation on Old Village Road.  Upon arriving, the officer discovered that all of the individuals involved were intoxicated.  One individual was removed from the residence and brought home.

0605:  Officers responded to a single vehicle accident on Page Hill.  No injury was reported.  The vehicle was towed.

2205:  Police assisted in locating the owner of a loose dog and transporting the dog to him.

1450:  Police received a report from an individual who lost her wallet at Ocean State Job Lots.  Ocean State was aware of the incident.  The officer took down the information and advised her to cancel any cards that were in the wallet.  The wallet was never turned into the police department, and a sweep of the parking lot yielded nothing.

1605:  Police assisted an individual with some questions she had about someone who she had let stay at her house.  It turned out to be a civil matter.

Wednesday, January 11, 2012

1155:  Police received a call from the elementary school about an unruly juvenile who hit the principal a few times.  The child was suspended, and the officer followed up with the parents and the grandmother.

1839:  Police received a report of some vandalism that was done to the wall in the boys’ bathroom at the high school.  After investigating, officers charged a juvenile with Criminal Mischief and Criminal Threatening, and he does have a court date.

2246:  Police assisted in a civil standby on Summer Street that turned into a domestic.  As a result, officers arrested Kelsie Ordway for Criminal Mischief.  Miss Ordway has a court date of February 06, 2012.

0945:  Police responded to a report of a deer walking around on Fisk Street.  The deer ran off toward the river.

2100:  Police did a welfare check on an individual on Second Street.  She had called a friend out of breath, saying that something had happened, and then hung up.  Upon arriving, officers found that she was just lonely and wanted someone to talk to.

1141:  The same individual from the night before called 911 advising that she is going crazy without her medication and that she needs an officer.  She did state that it was not an emergency.  The responding officer advised her not to call 911 if it is not an emergency, and he was able to calm her down.

1245:  Police followed up on a violation of a protective order.  A warrant was issued for Wayne Rowell for violation of said protective order, and Mr. Rowell turned himself into the Colebrook Police Department.  The case was turned over to the County Attorney.

1300:  Police assisted a gentleman with some questions about his ex-girlfriend’s bail conditions.

2135:  Police responded to an accident on Route 3 South.  The driver hit a telephone pole.  The female passenger was transported to Weeks via ambulance, and the truck and snowmobile trailer were towed from the scene.

0145:  Police assisted the ambulance with an individual who was having chest pains.  The individual signed off with the ambulance.

1729:  Police stopped a vehicle for erratic operation on Route 3 South.  The driver was just tired.

1936:  Police stopped Brandon Bisson and arrested him for Driving After Revocation or Suspension.  Mr. Bisson was bailed on $250 PR and has a court date of February 27.

2117:  Police responded to a report of a burglary on Dean Brook Drive.  After investigating, police arrested Trisha Gaudette for Burglary, Default or Breach of Bail Conditions, and Tampering With Witnesses and Informants.  Cash bail was set at $500.00.  Miss Gaudette has a court date of February 13.

1141:  Police received a report of a woman on Second Street who called 911 and asked for an ambulance to go somewhere in New York.  The woman told responding officers that a witch was putting spells on her and that she is under a voodoo curse.  Eventually officers determined that the woman was overusing her medication.  She was given a bed at the hospital for a couple of days, and her dog was transported to Riverside Rescue until she returned home.

1243:  Police received a report of a vehicle on Route 110 that ran out of gas.  The officer had gas brought to the vehicle.

1900:  Police responded to a domestic disturbance on Brooklyn Street.  The responding officer found that a husband had assaulted his wife.  As a result, Timothy Haycock was arrested for Simple Assault, Domestic Violence and held on $750.00 cash bail.  Mr. Haycock has a court date set for February 13.

2115:  Police responded to Melcher Street to assist with an unconscious male who had a seizure.

1305:  Police responded with the fire department to an alarm at the old Outfitters building.  Upon investigating, the fire department discovered that the sprinkler head had broken.

0045:  Police responded to an alarm at the library.  Dispatch could not get in touch with a key-holder.  Police made sure the building was secure.

0857:  Police assisted a gentleman who stopped by the police department to say that his building is flooding and he has no heat.  Police were unable to reach the landlord, but directed the gentleman to the town office, where he was able to get help.

1222:  Police responded to a 911 hang-up at Nicole’s Creative Cuts and Styles.  It was a 991 misdial.

1343:  Police received a complaint of some dogs constantly barking on Dean Brook Drive.  This has been an ongoing issue.  Police are looking into it.

1955:  Police received a complaint of a snowmobile driving around on the hill.

0919:  Police received a report of a missing juvenile.  Her brother dropped her off at the elementary school and left her there.  Both he and his mother were unaware that school had been delayed that day.  After some investigating, the juvenile was located at a nearby friend’s house.

1416:  Police spoke to a friend of the same gentleman from the day before who had the heat and flooding issues at his apartment.  He was still having the flooding issue, and the ceiling had caved in.  Police contacted Al’s Plumbing, who was able to stop the flooding.  The responding officer also called around to see if there was a bed available for the gentleman and was unable to locate one.  Police eventually were able to get in touch with a woman from Homeless Outreach, who came up to speak to the gentleman.

1455:  Police arrested Joseph Beaucage for Driving After Revocation or Suspension.  Mr. Beaucage was released with a court date of February 27, 2012.

1555:  Police responded to a complaint of erratic operation on Brown Road.

2245:  Police assisted a woman who believed she was being followed home from Lancaster.  The officer followed her to her residence and spoke with her for a few minutes before leaving.

1615:  Police responded to a report of an unruly juvenile on Lost Nation Road.  The responding officer was able to calm everything down, and work out a plan between the mother and the son that was to everyone’s liking.

1708:  Police received a report from an individual who stated he was being harassed.  The individual stated that he just wanted to let the police department know, and wanted to know what he could do.  He was advised to get a restraining order.

1716:  Police received a report of possible animal abuse happening on Old Village Road.  The officer advised the caller to take her animal to the vet and have them document everything.  The incident is currently being investigated.

1650:  Police responded to a welfare check on Second Street.  The homeowner will be going to a clinic in Concord until further notice.  The responding officer secured the home.

1953:  Police responded to a report of a suspicious motor vehicle.  The officer located the vehicle and found that the two individuals inside were trying to get cell phone service.

1624:  Police assisted an individual in gaining entry to their vehicle.

1628:  Police responded to a domestic disturbance on Rich Street.  Upon responding, officers determined that it was an argument between mother and son that was mutually engaged in.  No injuries were reported by either party.  The son went to stay at his grandmother’s house for the night.

1809:  Police assisted Stark police with a rollover accident.  No injuries were reported.

2237:  Police responded to a 911 hang-up on Old Village Road.  It turned out to be a 991 misdial.

2110:  Police assisted an individual who was concerned because he was hearing some rumors that someone is stalking him.  The responding officer told him to get a no trespass order, and to call the department if the individual shows up at his house.

1856:  Police received a complaint of a TT unit blocking the northbound lane on Route 3 South.  The responding officer found that the owner had parked the vehicle in his driveway, and it had slid down the driveway due to iciness.

2211:  Police responded to an accident on Route 3 South.  No injuries were reported.

2258:  Police took an intoxicated gentleman into protective custody and transported him to Coös County House of Corrections for the night.

0842:  Police received a report of an accident that occurred at the Pit Stop.  The woman left her information with them, and only slight damage was done to the pumps.

1015:  Police received a report of two suspicious males walking away from the area near their house.  The responding officer found that they were just out for a walk.

2300:  Police arrested Curtis Gagnon on a Bench Warrant.  He was transported to Coös County House of Corrections for lack of bail.

0815:  Police assisted U.S. Marshals in locating some individuals who they had warrants for.

1330:  Police responded to a 911 hang-up at the high school.  There was no emergency.

1520:  Police responded to a report of an attempted burglary on Fisk Street.  Nothing was missing or damaged.

1524:  Police assisted the elementary school with a juvenile whose mother never came to pick him up due to some confusion about after-school activities.  Eventually the mother did call back.

1700:  Police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Route 3 South.  No injuries were reported.

2110:  Police responded to a call about a vehicle that went off the road on Route 3 North.  The vehicle had already been pulled out when officers arrived a few minutes later.

1310:  Police received a report of a missing person, but upon callback, they discovered that the individual had already been found.

1355:  Police received a report of an assault at 141 Old Village Road.  The incident is currently under investigation.

1700:  Police received a report of possible Breach of Bail.  After investigating, officers determined that there was no wrongdoing.

2340:  Police assisted Lancaster police with a vehicle that refused to stop.  The individuals were taken into custody by Lancaster police.

2100:  Police received a 911 call about a male subject trying to break into a residence.  Upon arrival, the officer discovered that it was a dispute between an ex-boyfriend and girlfriend over some property.

2215:  Police received a report of a highly intoxicated male at the fire department.  The subject was combative, and transported to Weeks with police assistance.  The officer learned that the subject had been drinking too much at a holiday party, but had not taken anything else.

0815:  The same individual from yesterday who tried to break into the residence returned.  The officer on duty exchanged some property between the two, and advised the individual not to return or he would be arrested for trespassing.

1050:  Tina Savage was arrested on a warrant out of Northumberland for Conduct After and Criminal Mischief.  She was released on $3500 PR with a court date of January 23, 2012.

December 20, 2011

0010:  Police assisted with an out of service vehicle on State Street.

0840:  Police assisted an individual out of Stratford with an issue that he has been having regarding an abandoned horse on his property.

1440:  Police assisted a juvenile by giving him a ride home from school.  He is asthmatic and was having a bad day.

1459:  Police received a call about a possible case of elderly abuse or neglect.  The incident is currently under investigation.

1500:  Police have received, and continue to receive, numerous bad check cases, which are all actively being followed up on and prosecuted accordingly.

2000:  Police received a report of harassment.  The officer later spoke with the subject and advised him to leave the family alone or charges would be brought against him.  He also advised the family to get a restraining order against the subject.

1304:  Police received a report of a possible theft.  After following up with all of the involved parties, the responding officer discovered that it was a civil matter.

1347:  Police received a report of vandalism on the hill.  The incident is being investigated.

1350:  Police assisted an elderly woman with medical issues in getting her phone turned back on.

1454:  Police received a report of a single vehicle accident on Route 110.  The calling party just wanted to advise the police that he would be in later to pick up an operator’s report.

1505:  Police received a call about a burglary on the hill.  The incident is under investigation.

1900:  Police received a call about a motor vehicle accident on Route 3 South.  The officer assisted in helping the operator change his tire.

1140:  Police assisted a woman with some questions about a child custody issue.

1240:  Police are currently investigating a case of possible sexual assault.

1757:  Police responded to a possible violation of a protective order.

1900:  Police assisted in locating a juvenile who had violated his court-ordered curfew.  The juvenile was brought back to his house.

0130:  Police assisted a female by giving her a ride to the Lancaster town line after she was kicked out of her boyfriend’s house.  The Lancaster Police Department picked her up and set her up at the Blaine House.

2136:  Police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Route 3 North.

0858:  Police received a report of a single vehicle accident that had occurred sometime that morning.  The operator just wanted to make us aware that she would be in to pick up an operator’s report.

1708:  Police arrested Nicole Guinard on charges of Habitual Offender, Disobeying an Officer, and an outstanding Bench Warrant.  Mrs. Guinard was transported to Grafton County Jail for lack of bail.  Mrs. Guinard was eventually released on P.R. bail after arraignment and has a court date of January 23, 2012.

December 29, 2011

1550:  Police received a 911 call from a woman who stated that she thinks she was poisoned.  Upon responding, the woman told the officer that she was simply not feeling well.  She refused transport to Weeks.

1800:  Police received a call from an individual who is having issues with his ex-girlfriend over what property belongs to whom.  Police advised him that it is a civil matter and they would have to take it to court.

2040:  Police arrested Eugene Ward on a warrant out of Lancaster.  Mr. Ward refused bail, and was transported north for the night.

1058:  Hannah Thompson was arrested on a bad check warrant out of Northumberland.  She was released on P.R. bail and has a court date of January 30, 2012.

1305:  Police assisted a female caller with some questions about a child custody issue.

1345:  Police responded to an accident on the hill.

December 31, 2011

1925:  Police received a report of a missing person.  The caller stated that her husband had not returned home from work yesterday.  Upon investigating, the officer on duty found that the husband had gone out of the state for New Year’s.

2130:  Police received a report of a loose dog, and discovered that the owners were not home at the time.  One of the officers kept the dog until the owners returned home.
